Vision: Our vision is to close the racial wealth gap by building Black and Latino/a/x students into entrepreneurs and helping them secure high-wage jobs.
Mission: Our mission is to equip Black and Latino/a/x students with 21st century skills to create wealth.
What We Do
How does LITE work in Memphis?
1) Community Workshops
Students join LITE by attending one of our community workshops. Students can apply to attend a workshop online or by participating through a partner organization.
2) Youth Entrepreneurship Program
After attending a workshop, students are invited to join Y.E.P., our Youth Entrepreneurship Program. Finalists receive monetary support to launch their dream idea through our entrepreneurship curriculum.
3) Innovation Fellows
LITE students are supported by our innovative programming for 8 years. Innovation Fellows have access to paid internship matching, business coaching and career development.
