WEE Care Inc. in partnership with RED Door Urban Missions and The Center for Transforming Communities will be hosting the “I AM The Change” Community Resource Fair on January 15th, from 1pm to 3pm, in observance for MLK Day at the Peppertree Apartments, located at 243 Graceland Dr, Memphis, TN 38116.
The MLK Day | "I AM The Change '' Community Resource Fair is a call to action defining a moment when local nonprofits, businesses, and organizations step up to make our communities more equitable and take action to build the Beloved Community of Dr. King’s dream. Even 54 years after his death, we are still fighting for the systemic change that stapled his existence.
The Resource Fair aims to bridge the gap between the residents of Peppertree and surrounding community members to available resources such as expungement education, youth intervention and behavioral modification, parental and expecting mother services, mental health counseling, driver’s license reinstatement education, background-friendly job placement, workforce development education, etc.
