Needs From: Volunteer Memphis

Crossroads Hospice is looking for direct care volunteers to provide companionship and socialization to our patients through face to face visits. Activities that can be done when visiting with patients : talking, coloring, play games, reading, playing music, etc. 

Per Medicare - volunteer can visit a minimum of one time a month for 30 minutes to an hour. If you are able to visit more than once a month - that would be wonderful. 

To become a Direct Care Volunteer - you will need to :

1. Complete an application.

2. Have two reference forms filled out. 

3. Pass a background check

4. Have a TB test completed

5. Go through training at our office. Training lasts between 1.5 - 2 hours. We schedule the training around your schedule.
