Your dedication to connecting people, building relationships, and organizing community events like PurpleLight, will be instrumental in creating a “strong and thriving” affiliate and PanCAN community that is united in the fight against pancreatic cancer. Additionally, you’ll oversee the Strong and Thriving section of the local Affiliate Action Plan, while driving a committee of Media and Social Media enthusiasts to ensure communication with the community we serve is consistent and relevant. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES • Primary point of contact for potential volunteers in your community. • Assess potential volunteer’s skills, interests, and availability, and match them to appropriate roles or general activities within the affiliate.
