Unique Volunteer Opportunity!
Memphis Light Gas & Water’s Corporate Social Responsibility Department would like to invite you to be part of MLGW’s 2024 Multicultural One-Stop Resource Fair/Mobile Food Pantry.
The goal of the event is to educate the public about local resources while providing nutritious food donated by the Mid-South Food Bank.
We’re looking for volunteers for the event!
Volunteer Roles include:
- Sort/Pack food for mobile pantry
- Load food in cars at pantry
- Collect/Distribute mobile pantry forms
- Staff registration table at resource expo
- Assist with lunch for vendors and volunteers at expo
- Bilingual volunteers are needed to serve as translators
- Assist with event setup and breakdown
- Serve as runners for both expo and mobile pantry

DATE: Saturday, November 9, 2024
TIME: 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. (The actual event will take place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.)
LOCATION: First Baptist Church Broad, 2835 Broad Ave, Memphis TN 38112
