Hey #Bucs,
Art in the Loop 2024 is returning between April 12th and 14th, and taking place on Ridgeway Loop Road (between Briarcrest Avenue & Ridge Bend Rd.).
This 7th annual edition of Art in the Loop, the art festival in east Memphis, will feature talented artists working in metal, glass, wood, clay, & fiber; plus, jewelry, paintings, photography, and more! We’ll also offer guests the fare of some of the town’s top food trucks, and performances of classical music by area youth ensembles.
Some volunteer responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Sanitation: policing the event site for litter, removing trash containers to designated areas, sanitizing the tables at food trucks.
- Artist Relations: booth-sitting for artists (to allow them to take a quick break from their tent), delivering water bottles to artists’ booths
- Musical performance production: meeting performers at designated times, directing them to parking, showing them where to set up, helping to set up chairs for performers, etc.
- Communications: staffing our information desk, coordinating fulfillment of requests for booth sitters, shooting photos and posting to social media
With this in mind, they are in need of volunteers for all three days! To register for such, please select a shift time/date below to assure that your hours are properly recorded within this platform. Lastly, volunteers are asked to work a three (3) hour shift, or as many more hours as they find comfortable. Clothing should be comfortable; jeans and sneakers fine (this is not a dressy event).
