Reliable transportation is often the difference between someone attending class or missing an opportunity to improve their English. As a Thursday Morning Driver, you'll provide safe, dependable transportation so refugee and immigrant students can focus on learning and building a brighter future.
Your weekly commitment helps remove one of the biggest barriers to education.
What You'll Do
- Drive a World Relief passenger van or your personal vehicle to transport students to and from English classes.
- Follow the same route each week, making it easy to learn and consistent for students.
- Provide a safe, welcoming, and friendly experience for every passenger.
- Help students arrive on time and ready to learn.

You're a Great Fit If You Are
- A safe, dependable driver with a valid driver's license.

Time Commitment
Thursdays
- Morning Pickup: 8:00–9:25 AM
- Morning Return: 11:30 AM–12:45 PM
Volunteers may serve one shift or both.
Volunteer Requirements
To ensure the safety of our clients, drivers must complete:
- Volunteer application
- Online orientation and training
- Background check
- Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
We'll provide everything you need before your first route.
