The 2024 HYPE Memphis Student Symposium will take place Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 9am to 2pm (Registration 8am - 9am), at the Michael D. Rose Theater, on the University of Memphis campus. Students will participate in various interactive breakout sessions and open forums.
Volunteers will serve in various tasks: Event set-up & breakdown, Classroom Monitors, Assisting with registration and lunch distribution.

ABC24 News, in partnership with University of Memphis, Memphis Shelby County Schools, Memphis Office of Youth Services and others is excited to host the 2nd Annual HYPE (Helping Young People Excel) Memphis student symposium.
This initiative is focused on local area students in grades 7 through 12. This year’s half-day symposium will serve to further the program’s design of developing the core principles needed to produce good citizenship, purpose, and hope in our students.
