Overcoming Hateful Things: Stories from the Jim Crow South Museum of Racists Imagery.
Volunteers are needed to assist visitors navigate this very important exhibit at the Pink Palace Museum. Volunteers will assist visitors as they navigate their way through the exhibit by providing information upon entering the exhibit, answering questions about the exhibit and its interactive components, and assisting the exhibit staff by collecting written response from the reflective wall and monitoring the word wall. Volunteers will have a short training prior to volunteering and also have written material to study.
Volunteers are needed Tuesday- Sunday, 10:00am-2:00pm. Hours may vary depending on school group visitors to the museum. Volunteers are asked to sign up for 4 weeks at a time for at least one day each week.
