The Economic Development Forum (EDF) convenes national thought leaders, representatives from all levels of government, corporate representatives, Small Business Owners, Aspiring Entrepreneurs, representatives from the economic and advocacy ecosystem, and the greater community.
What to Expect: The two-and-a-half-day event will feature the following:
·A day-long exhibition where exhibiting corporations, small businesses and organizations of all sizes make strategic connections with more than 2,000 attendees and participate in live, hands-on workshop
·A full day of speaking engagements and seminars led by various industry leaders
·A marketplace for local vendors that provide services and products to corporations and small businesses
·The Corporate Connection Zone, where M/WBEs meet face-to-face with various corporate decision-makers to discuss their abilities to provide services or products
·The Capital Connection Zone is where M/WBEs and other event attendees can meet with bankers and financial experts to determine what financial solutions best fit their needs.

Volunteers will be assisting with the following:
- Directing Attendees - Stationed at the elevators (Up & Downstairs)
- Directing Attendees - Stationed at Ballroom A & B
- Assisting with Stanchion Setup to Guide Attendees
- Scanning Badges to Access Seminars/Events
- Assisting with Registration Check-In Process
- Assisting with Various Activities on the Exhibit Hall Floor
- Assisting with Silent Workshops (i.e., Sanitize Equipment with Wipes)
