Volunteer Memphis 7th Annual MLK Days of Service is this Thursday, January 12 through Monday, January 16 and Saturday, January 14 is all about providing health and wellness services to communities. This year we will be at two locations, the Orange Mound Community Center and the Hollywood Community Center. We will be providing free health and wellness items, mammograms, vaccines as well as facilitating a food and diaper drive.
In preparation for Saturday, volunteers and staff will work together in our conference room to pack health and wellness tote bags; these will be distributed at our Saturday events. We will provide snacks and water.
Please note that street parking of 4th street is free; please park only on the West side. Once you arrive, please contact Jewel Williams at (704) 345 - 3348 who will let you in the building and escort you to the 6th floor.
For the safety of our staff and other volunteers, if you have recently had a fever, cough or shortness of breath please stay home.
