Who We Are

What We Do

Since its inception in 1893, the Memphis Public Library system has been characterized by a strong commitment to community outreach and engagement that spans beyond its extensive catalog of materials. It is home to Memphis Teen Learning lab, Cloud901. It is also home to WYPL (89.3 FM), a non-commercial radio station that provides an open radio reading service to patrons. Book readings, author interviews, and both local and international news programming are among the station's offerings.
