What We Do
Our service is powered by volunteer Crisis Counselors who have received our training and are equipped to support others in their moments of need through active listening techniques, de-escalation strategies and empathy.
Volunteering at Crisis Text Line is a significant and rewarding experience. As you learn how to empathize with people’s unique struggles through collaborative problem solving, you may find yourself developing new skills in communication and self-awareness that can benefit both your personal relationships and professional life while making a positive impact in the lives of others.
