Who We Are
The BDC is a non-profit community development corporation working to improve the quality of life in the Binghampton community. D.R.E.A.M. is a ministry of the BDC, focusing on discipling young people in the neighborhood, and creating strong leaders grounded on our five pillars: Discipleship, Responsibility, Engagement, Accountability, Mentorship.
What We Do
The Binghampton Development Corporation is a CDC that focuses on affordable housing, job training, and youth programming. D.R.E.A.M. is the overarch of our youth programming where we seek to disciple and teach young people in the neighborhood, through after school programs, about God, what He teaches us in the Bible and how we are to live in light of that. We also seek to provide opportunities and experiences for students to learn and grow, focusing primarily on art, community, and education. We bring in community members and individuals from the broader Memphis area who are experts in their fields to share their knowledge and skill with our students. We hope to offer a wide variety of topics and experiences to encourage our students to dream about what could be.
