Who We Are

Customized Veterans Group is a publicly funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides jobs, housing, and healthcare specially adapted programs nationwide for elderly and disabled veterans and their family members, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Most of these Veterans have sustained mental injuries including multiple limb amputations, partial or full paralysis, and sever traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Our goal is to restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed while defending our country, and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives in the areas of jobs, housing and healthcare. CVG will also build and renovate homes where the Veterans and family members are currently living and continue their relationships with other Veterans and community members to assist them with rebuilding their lives.

The mission of CVG is to help America's military veterans regain control of their lives by improving their physical and mental health. When we treat the whole person, rather than simply the sickness or symptom, we can provide for the Veterans' current health requirements while also taking into account the Veteran's preferences and aspirations.

What We Do

Workforce Development

We are training future associates to enhance the competencies of individual employees by designing and conducting training programs that will boost employee's workplace performance in the industries for warehouse and logistics with company's core values reliability, competencies, and brand loyalty. CVG will be responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering curriculum and learning materials and for all phases of training interventions for the supply and logistics e-commerce industry.

Housing

Permanent Housing

Veterans in need who have had a hard time keeping stable home can turn to the CVG for assistance. This program helps veterans who have been homeless for an extended period of time, but have not been successful in applying to other types of housing programs. Permanent housing helps homeless veterans by providing them with a place to live that is both inexpensive and stable, as well as case management services to help them establish healthy habits and a routine that will set them up for a successful reintegration into society. Participants are provided with their own rooms or flats.

Transitional Housing

The CVG offers a 60-day housing transition program. Veterans who are chronically homeless and resistant to services are the focus of the Transitional Housing program. While participating in the program or visiting the drop-in center, veterans have access to a wide range of services. During business hours, clinical staff is available to provide care.

Healthcare

Veterans can now receive care that is more accessible and focused on their individual needs because of technological advancements. This includes telehealth systems that allow Veterans to get care from the comfort of their own homes or other locations of their choosing, as well as electronic health records that can be accessed from anywhere.
