Housing
Permanent Housing
Veterans in need who have had a hard time keeping stable home can turn to the CVG for assistance. This program helps veterans who have been homeless for an extended period of time, but have not been successful in applying to other types of housing programs. Permanent housing helps homeless veterans by providing them with a place to live that is both inexpensive and stable, as well as case management services to help them establish healthy habits and a routine that will set them up for a successful reintegration into society. Participants are provided with their own rooms or flats.
Transitional Housing
The CVG offers a 60-day housing transition program. Veterans who are chronically homeless and resistant to services are the focus of the Transitional Housing program. While participating in the program or visiting the drop-in center, veterans have access to a wide range of services. During business hours, clinical staff is available to provide care.
Healthcare
Veterans can now receive care that is more accessible and focused on their individual needs because of technological advancements. This includes telehealth systems that allow Veterans to get care from the comfort of their own homes or other locations of their choosing, as well as electronic health records that can be accessed from anywhere.
