Frayser Community Association

The decision to form a new organization came from a series of meetings and discussions recognizing the need for a community wide organization which could collaborate with other community-wide efforts such as the Frayser Community Development Corporation. The Frayser Community Association was established for the purpose of bringing together all areas of Frayser in order for the citizens of the community to get to know each other and work together for common goals, common projects, and common interests. 

Mission: The mission of Frayser Community Association is to be the umbrella organization supporting housing, schools, neighborhoods, businesses and civic organizations; working together on issues of common concerns while preserving the residential quality of Frayser. 

Vision: Frayser will continue its tradition and values while becoming a premier destination community and first choice for safe living, learning, working, worshipping, shopping and recreation.

Our organization sponsors community festivals, parades and other events in which volunteers are needed, including:

Frayser Spring Festival; a tradition of family friendly activities featuring local food, retail and game vendors. 

Frayser Holiday Parade; a band, float and decorated vehicle competition
