We provide information and assistance to connect seniors, adults with disabilities, their families, and caregivers with the tools needed to maximize their independence and safety in their chosen community.
What We Do
The Aging Commission of the Mid South is the designated Area Agency on Aging and Disability for the City of Memphis, Fayette, Lauderdale, Shelby, and Tipton Counties. We work with the U.S. Administration on Aging and our own Tennessee Commission on Aging to implement Older American Act Programs here in West Tennessee. Through partnerships with our trusted providers, the Aging Commission of the Mid South is the link between older adults and adults with disabilities and the agencies and programs that serve them.
