Who We Are
Founded in 1933 as the Brooks Memorial Auxiliary, the League has undergone several name changes, but the mission has always been to support the projects and programs of the Museum by bringing the youth of Memphis in contact with the fine arts.
What We Do
We support the Memphis Brooks Museum, especially its sponsorship of the annual Mid-South Scholastic Arts Competition for grades 7-12, a juried contest, both with volunteers and financial gifts and scholarships. We also enjoy monthly arts programs at our general membership meetings. Historically, we organize a fundraising project to accomplish our mission.
