Who We Are

Cazateatro Bilingual Theater Group is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization founded in 2010. The mission of Cazateatro is to share the Hispanic-American culture through the scenic arts in order to create a unifying bridge for our wide-ranging community, stressing the importance of being bilingual and the richness of our diverse cultures.

What We Do

The only bilingual theatre community organization in Tennessee. We seek to introduce the greater Memphis community to the many facets of Latinx art and culture.

To do so, we work to attract, entertain, and educate both English-Speaking and Spanish-speaking Memphians of all ages.

Our regular programs include:

• Our bi-lingual theatre performance series

  • Cazateatro Outreach Programming
  • The ‘On the Road’ project
  • Childrens Virtual Programming

Latinx Cultural Events:

  •  Latin Fest 901
  • • The Dia de los Muertos, or ‘Day of the Dead’ Parade and Festival
  • • Afro-Latino week

Our dedication to providing a connecting bridge between cultures in our community continues in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic, and we have and will continue to work hard to meet the needs of our English and Spanish-speaking audiences through a robust suite of consistent, online, and socially distanced offerings.
