Please join us on Tuesdays at 12 PM for "Food, Faith, and Free Elections", a series of discussions over lunch held in the Turley Memphis Center Room in West Campus Education Building 101 (613 University Street). Each lunch will feature a Presbyterian and a speaker from another religious tradition who will talk about how their religious background makes them committed to some aspect of democratic society, and then we will discuss over lunch.
This series is funded by a grant from the Presbyterian Mission Agency, and is co-sponsored by the Office of the Chaplain, the Lynne and Henry Turley Memphis Center for Community Engagement, Religious Studies, Politics and Law, Expressive Speech Working Group, and Evergreen Presbyterian Church. RSVP here: https://fs22.formsite.com/webmanagerrhodesedu/4rpardfmzb/index.
Thanks for considering and I all my best to the events that are happening across the Tennessee!
Again, if attending, please be sure to RSVP 48 hours in advance. For more questions and concerns, please contact Ms. Mercado (mercadoi@rhodes.edu).
