Hey Bucs,
CBU is proud to host Dr. Alan Lightman, MIT physicist and best-selling author, for a screening of his PBS documentary Searching: Our Quest for Meaning in the Age of Science. The screening event will take place next Tuesday, March 21, at 7:00 pm in the University Theater.
Alan will be joined by Geoffrey Haines-Stiles, who produced Carl Sagan’s pioneering Cosmos series in addition to Searching. Four members of the CBU community will also be participating in the event. These include two faculty panelists: Dr. Lyndsey Pierson (Biology) and Dr. Drew Hampton (Behavioral Sciences); and two student panelists: Lacey Conley and Equilla Beasley.
Alan is very excited to be able to share this work with the CBU community, and he especially wants to make this event available to CBU students.
Seating is limited, and the event is open to the public, so please reserve a spot by registering for the event here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/screening-discussion-of-searching-series-tickets-557244081047
We hope to see you there! #GoBucs
