Make a Difference Week, created over 30 years ago by our partner Points of Light, is the largest national day of community service in the country and is a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors.
Volunteer Memphis has taken this a step further with our annual Make a Difference Week Monday, October 20th through Friday, October 24st; Make a Difference Week provides free, age-appropriate financial literacy classes, primarily to middle and high school students at various schools throughout Memphis. The Shelby County Trustee’s Office along with First South Financial will be presenting the Own Your Own Demo at Wooddale High School.
We need volunteers to make this happen! Volunteers will help the presenters set up, pass out materials to students, and help facilitate the demonstration. Instructions will be provided by the First South Team.
