Lichterman Nature Center Plant Sale
If you are an outdoor person, a people person, or if you love plants this is the volunteer opportunity for you. Volunteers are needed Saturday, April 11, 2026,26 from 8:45am-1:00pm and/ or 12:30pm-5:00pm each day. Volunteers will assist with moving plants to the sale areas, helping load plants in car (small plants mostly), assist with purchase tickets, act as greeters, and help rehouse plants at the end of the day.
Volunteers must be 16 years or older. This is an outdoor event, so please dress for the weather. All volunteers will need to sign a City of Memphis Volunteer Waiver. If you are under 18 years old, and adult must also sign the waiver.
2 shifts available: please specify which shift you are volunteering for
- Volunteer shifts are 8:45am-1:00pm and 12:45pm-5:00pm
- Please let us know which shift you are signing up for.
So please come out and help others beautify their yards, go green with native plants, maybe learn something new about plants, and have a great day outdoors at Lichterman Nature Center.
