Transportation can be one of the biggest barriers to building a new life. As a Road Runner Transportation Volunteer, you'll help ensure refugee and immigrant youth can consistently participate in our Wednesday Youth Group by providing safe, reliable transportation to and from the program
What You'll Do
As a Wednesday Youth Group Road Runner, you will:
- Provide safe and reliable transportation for youth to and/or from Wednesday Youth Group.
- Pick up youth from their designated location and transport them to the program.
- Help create a welcoming and positive experience during each ride.
- Communicate with World Relief staff regarding transportation schedules, changes, or concerns.
- Serve as a consistent and dependable part of the support system surrounding our youth.

Time Commitment
Wednesdays
Volunteers may assist with transportation to Youth Group, home from Youth Group, or both, depending on availability and current transportation needs.
Consistency is especially valuable for this role because reliable transportation helps youth participate regularly and build relationships within the program
Volunteer Onboarding
Because this role involves transporting youth, volunteers must complete the World Relief Memphis onboarding and driver clearance process, including:
- Volunteer application
- Online orientation and required training
- Background check
- Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
- Any additional requirements for volunteers serving with youth
