The Memphis River Parks Partnership, in partnership Downtown Memphis Commission and other community groups, is looking for volunteers for the Vance Ave Connector Paint Day on Saturday, May 22. We'll be painting stencils of notable South Memphians on the sidewalk from 4th and Vance to Front and Vance. The stencils will act as way finding to Vance Park. So it'll lead you to the river and you'll learn a little bit about some famous Memphians!
We'll provide food, drinks and music, all you have to do is show up with energy and effort! Teams and big groups are encouraged to sign up! This is a great community service opportunity.
You don't have to commit for the entire 9am-3pm day, but we ask that you at least stay for 2 hours.
