We need 30 people to be spread out in groups of 2-4 stationed at key turns and intersections along the 5k and 1 mile race route (from Autozone Park to the I AM Man Plaza, Main Street, the River, etc). Each volunteer will get a lanyard and directions to direct the walkers and runners at turns in the route. Some volunteers will run the water station and hand out water to participants.
Each volunteer will be assigned an intersection in advance. The race volunteer coordinator will email instructions in advance with the exact location and then deliver lanyard to the assigned location the morning of the race.
The race start and finish is at Autozone Park (198 Union Avenue, Memphis, TN) but volunteers will not be required to come to Autozone Park prior to the race to avoid paying parking twice.
