Literacy Mid-South is recruiting one-time volunteers for our 8th Annual fundraising event, Literatini. The event, held at Novel bookstore, is a cocktail competition among 10 of Memphis' top local bars and restaurants. The evening includes cocktail tastings, food samplings, music, a photo booth, and a silent auction.
Volunteers are needed for several roles, including
- monitoring the silent auction
- passing appetizers during the event
- event set up
- event tear down
- checking tickets at the door
- checking IDs at the door
- assisting bartenders to keep stations stocked throughout the evening
Due to the nature of the event, volunteers must be 21 or older.
