Summer Wellness Fair

We will have a Summer Wellness Fair in Frayser Park (2907 N. Watkins St.) on Saturday, June 4th 11am-2pm (coupled with the Grand Reopening of Ed Rice Community Center!). In order to run things smoothly we need volunteers to help pass out giveaways, hand out hcd wellness kits, monitor bounce houses, and direct guests to where they need to be. This event is free and open to the public and will feature wellness education booths, bounce houses, face painters, caricature artists, and more! So feel free to bring the whole family! Although the event will be outdoors, each station will be under a 10x10 tent. Two large misting fans will also help keep everyone cool throughout the time. Be sure to dress for the weather (breezy clothing, light colors). There will be water and snacks available to all volunteers. Shaved Ice and Mempops will be available for purchase as well.
