There’s nothing like skating with the Mississippi River as the backdrop, and we need your help to bring skating back to the riverfront!
We are in need of volunteers to ensure a smooth skate rental process during the River Market on Sunday, June 26 in River Garden on Riverside Drive. This opportunity is broken down into two 3.5 hour shifts:
1st Shift: 10:00am – 1:30pm
2nd Shift: 1:30 – 5:00pm
Duties include:
- Assists with check-in of all skate participants
- Finds the appropriate skate size for guests
- Sprays roller skates after each use
- Patrols the skating area to ensure the safety of guests
- Ensures all skates are accounted for at the end of the event
- May be required to lift/or move heavy containers
