Journey East Academy, located at 6870 Winchester Rd., Memphis, TN 38115, will be hosting "Jumpstart’s Read for the Record Day on October 27, 2022. Over 2 million readers and thousands of classrooms, libraries, and communities will come together to celebrate early literacy and read Nigel and the Moon by Antwan Eady." To register for this volunteer opportunity, please complete the form linked below.
Along with responding to this need within the User Group (i.e., respond button to the top right of this page), you will then be able to read to the K-5 scholars at Journey East Academy, and record your service hours.
Please be sure to show up early after registering to allow transition time from the parking lot within the school.
