Race for Reconciliation’s (R4R) 2nd annual 5K Race for Reconciliation will be held in Memphis, TN on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 16, 2023 at 11 a.m. at AutoZone Park. R4R is a community-focused event on MLK Day designed to showcase that the dream of unity is alive in Memphis. It is a gathering of people from all walks of life sharing goodwill and love for their fellow neighbors. The dream is for our 5K/1 mile events to be held in cities across the U.S. Let's bring all people together to walk, run, and make a difference. Fitness for a reason.
To maximize our opportunity to positively impact the city of Memphis at this year's race, we would love to intentionally place people like you along the race route and at the finish line who can cheer on and encourage our race participants. Your energy and excitement will not only empower our runners to finish strong, it will create a powerful culture that invites those watching from the sidelines to take notice of the good happening in our city. Nothing says unity more than people who have a heart to bring healing, honor, and hope to Memphis cheering on others running for the same reason.
Let's help Memphis become the best version of itself! Your presence matters.
And stick around after the race! Following the awards ceremony will be food and fun for the family including a performance by Stax Academy, kids' activities and food trucks.
