Road To Recovery volunteers use their personal vehicle to drive people with cancer who have limited or no transportation get to treatments.
You choose the rides that work with your schedule. Rides are weekdays. We encourage drivers to provide 2 rides per month minimum, depending on the ride requests. Many drivers help several times a month.
Volunteer drivers are ages 18-84 and
- a safe driving record and reliable vehicle
- a current license and auto insurance
- are comfortable using technology
Volunteers interested complete online training, provide proof of insurance, and pass a background check. Volunteers review available rides via an online scheduling tool.
