Our neighbors with Send Relief: Memphis Ministry Center are asking for volunteers to help with their mobile food pantry. You'd be asked to serve from 8 AM - 12 PM for this opportunity, and if you have any further questions, please contact Ms. Shugg via email (kineatristwomack@gmail.com) or phone (601-497-1675).
Volunteers will assist with setting up and bagging food once the Food Bank delivers the pallets of food, loading food into cars, handing out paperwork and pens to cars, writing number of families per car on car windows, directing traffic, and also putting data into computers from each family who recieved food. If you have a laptop to utilize for such that you can bring, it is also greatly appreciated!
