JA Inspire is a career exploration program designed for students to learn about and gain exposure to the industries and career opportunities available to them across the Mid-South. The program culminates with both a virtual fair and a hands-on expo that brings to life a variety of careers, while highlighting the different educational pathways to obtaining them.
The hands-on, interactive expo takes place Tuesday, May 14th through Thursday, May 16th, 2024. The morning and mid-day shifts are as follows:
Tues. and Wed. - 8:00a-10:30a; 10:00a-12:30p and 12:00p-2:30p
Thurs. - 8:00a-10:30a; 10:00a-12:30p
Please feel free to sign up for as many shifts as you would like.
We ask that volunteers dress comfortably as you will be standing and interacting with your students. Volunteers will receive a shirt to be worn during the event. Lunch will be provided, however, if you have any dietary restrictions, you may prefer to provide your lunch.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and are required to complete a background check before the day of the event. Following registration, a background screen link will be sent via email. If not completed, the volunteer will be unable to volunteer. If you are bilingual or multilingual, please note the languages spoken in the notes section.
