Hey CBU and Friends,
Our colleagues at Memphis-Shelby County Schools are in need of volunteers for the 2023-2024 school year to provide an hour of their time every two weeks through their Lunch Buddy Program.
Volunteers will be going into various middle schools around the city and having lunch with a middle school student every other week. MSCS believes that college students, like you all here at CBU, could provide a great impact and valuable knowledge to students. They would also prefer to have juniors and seniors as participants in this program, but all classifications are welcomed!
To sign up and volunteer for a sessions, beginning the week of Oct. 2nd, please respond to this need within this platform for the respective week noted within the title (i.e., Week of Oct. 2nd, Week of Oct. 16th, etc.). This will assure that your hours are properly recorded and credited to your Volunteer Profile/Resume.
After completing that, click the link below to complete your "Mentor Profile" with MSCS, and complete background checks ahead of the volunteer time.
