On Sept. 15th, 2023, our neighbors with the Cooper Young Community Association will be hosting their annual "4-Miler" event, and are in need of volunteers! For more context on the event, please see the short description below:
The Cooper-Young 4-Miler is a classic Midtown tradition held in the streets of Cooper-Young the night before the Cooper-Young Festival. Runners will hit the streets of our historic, eclectic neighborhood for a one of a kind experience culminating in Trestlefest, a street party complete with Garibaldi's pizza, Memphis Made beer, and music by the Mighty Souls Brass Band. It's the perfect way to kick off CY Festival weekend.
To volunteer for this event, please complete the following steps:
- Respond within this platform so that your hours are properly recorded to your Volunteer Memphis Profile.
- Click the link here to complete volunteer registration from the Cooper Young Community Association's end.
After such, be sure to attend the event, and if you have any CBU shirts and/or gear you can wear to represent that day, we highly encourage you do to so! If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Cooper Young Community Association via their email (info@cooperyoung.org).
