On November 8th, join First 8 Memphis for our Parent Speaker Series Workshop: How to Teach Your Child To ReadWe're looking for 15-20 volunteers to assist with directing in-door traffic, assist with check-in process, and assist with other logistics. 

Attire: casual

First 8 Memphis is thrilled to welcome friends, Dr. Deborah Reed, Director of Tennessee Reading Research Center, Sonja Randall, LENA Coordinator at the University of Memphis, and Read-n-Ready Advocate Grandma Joyce to discuss early literacy skills and give real-time presentations on methods of teaching children phonics.

Parking: Crosstown Concourse parking garage offers 3 levels of free parking and free 2-hour parking on the 1st level, as well as 15 minute-free parking for quick and easy pickups right outside the garage. The campus and garage are under 24hour surveillance.
