Sunset Skate is officially back on the riverfront this spring and summer!
Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, skate rentals, and breakdown at the Sunset Skate series in River Garden on Riverside Drive. This opportunity is broken down into two shifts:
Shift 1: 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. (3 hours)
Shift 2: 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. (2.5 hours)
Duties may include:
- Assist with check-in of skate participants
- Survey park visitors
- Find appropriate skate sizes for guests
- Spray roller skates after each use
- Patrol skating area to ensure the safety of guests
- Ensure all skates are accounted for at the end of the event
- Clean-up remaining debris and trash on street and in park
- May be required to lift/or move heavy containers and barricades
