Our neighbors at Binghampton Christian Academy are in need of a few volunteers in helping to finish off this Spring semester, and to help for Summer too!
Test Proctors (April 23-26 & 29-30):
- Students in grades K5- 8th will take the Iowa Assessment April 23- 30. Four to six volunteers are needed each morning to aid teachers as test proctors. The responsibilities of a proctor include monitoring students during the testing sessions, ensuring a quiet and conducive testing environment, reading the test to students who require accommodations, distributing and collecting supplies, and assisting students as needed. We ask volunteers to arrive by 8 am and be available to stay until 11 am.

Meal Providers for Residential Program:
- As the end of the school year approaches, we have an urgent need for meals on several evenings. Volunteers can sign up to bring a catered meal to the girls and/or boys dorm students. To view the list dates and read the details about meal needs, please visit www.takethemameal.com (Last name: dorms Password: 1234). Please note, if you would like to stay for dinner and host an activity with the Residential Students, select to volunteer on either a Monday or Thursday night. Tuesday and Wednesday nights are for meal drop off only unless special permission is granted.

- BCA is 99 percent donor funded with families paying less than 1 percent of school operating cost in yearly fees. Each year 135 students receive a strong Christian education in a small, family-like atmosphere where they are loved and nurtured to become productive, self-supporting citizens. Your gift to BCA’s annual fund allows us to continue offering our programs for less than $200 a year per family. Donations also support BCA’s novel Residential Program that houses 32 of our highest needs students during the school year. Help us end the school year strong!
