Helping an adult improve their literacy is one of the most rewarding volunteer opportunities there is!
Shelby Literacy Center is looking for some volunteers to work with adults who need help learning English, improveing their reading skills, passing their GED, ASVAB, or other important exam, or just a coach to help with resume writing , interviewing skills, or other short term support.
Volunteers can choose to tutor virtually or in-person at a local library or other public space.
